Gospel Questions & Answers

Who is Jesus?
Jesus is from eternity, the second person of the one true God, and the everlasting Word who took on flesh. Born of a virgin, He was fully God and fully human, living a sinless life. Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecies and is the only Savior given to mankind. He is a real historical figure, confirmed by scripture and history.

Why did He die?
Adam and Eve’s disobedience brought sin into the world, separating humanity from God. To save us, God sent His Son, Jesus, born of a virgin, to live without sin and die on the cross as a perfect sacrifice. Jesus took the punishment for our sins, offering salvation to all who believe in Him.

How did He resurrect?
Jesus, who never sinned, rose from the dead on the third day, proving His power over death. His resurrection offers new life to believers, removing the curse of sin and death. Through faith in Jesus, believers are made alive spiritually and can share in His victory.

How can I be saved?
Salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory, but Christ died for us. To be saved, believe Jesus is Lord, confess Him, and trust His resurrection. Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Should I be baptized?
Yes. Baptism is an outward sign of inward salvation. Believing in Jesus and repenting of sins makes you born again. Baptism by immersion symbolizes dying to the old life and being raised to new life in Him.

What now?
As a Christian, live for God by walking in the Spirit—reading Scripture, praying, and doing good works. Though you will stumble, continue growing in faith and keep your focus on Jesus. Salvation is a lifelong journey of faith and obedience.

Remember:
